About 'pool motor'-Hayward Pool Pump Instructions?








As               a               child,               I               spent               many               hours               in               the               swimming               pool               at               the               Pavilion               Motor               Lodge               in               Ocean               City,               New               Jersey.

I               have               many               fond               memories               of               staying               there,               a               short               walk               from               the               boardwalk,               listening               to               the               sounds               of               seagulls               and               breathing               in               the               fresh               salt               air.

This               year,               I               had               the               opportunity               to               return,               and               I               was               pleased               to               learn               the               motel               still               lives               up               to               my               memories.

Located               at               801               Atlantic               Avenue,               on               the               corner               of               8th               Street               and               less               than               a               block               from               the               beach,               the               Pavilion               Motor               Lodge               has               been               welcoming               guests               for               four               or               five               decades.

It               still               has               the               charm               of               an               old-fashioned,               independently               owned               motel,               but               it               is               better               maintained               than               many               hotels/motels/motor               lodges               of               its               era.

The               décor               has               been               kept               up               to               date,               and               our               room               featured               attractive               quilts               that               I               would               be               thrilled               to               have               in               my               own               home.

The               building's               façade               has               also               been               updated,               a               subdued               maroon               replacing               the               1950s               pink               accents               I               remember               from               my               own               childhood.

(The               beach               side               of               the               building               still               sports               a               large               seahorse,               which               has               also               been               painted               maroon.)
               The               pool               is               still               there,               and               it               was               just               as               refreshing               as               it               used               to               be.

Scattered               around               the               courtyard               below               the               pool               are               picnic               tables               with               large               umbrellas,               which               provide               excellent               shaded               areas               to               relax               and               enjoy               time               with               friends               and               family               while               staying               dry.
               Rates               are               reasonable,               ranging               from               $60               to               $180               per               night,               depending               on               the               type               of               room               and               dates               of               visit.

In               addition               to               regular               nightly               rooms,               the               Pavilion               offers               weekly               apartment               rentals               in               adjacent               buildings               and               good               meals               at               the               Seahorse               Grill.
               The               motel               requires               a               deposit               for               the               keys               and               has               additional               charges               for               additional               people               or               beds.

Guests               may               also               borrow               beach               tags               for               a               deposit               of               $10               each,               a               nice               service               that               provides               savings               for               beach               visits.

Amenities               include               the               standard               ice               and               soft               drink               machines,               ample               free               parking,               coin-operated               laundry               machines,               refrigerators               in               the               rooms,               cable               television,               and               (to               the               delight               of               my               son)               a               chocolate               vending               machine.

The               only               thing               I               expected               but               didn't               have               was               shampoo               in               the               bathroom               --               be               sure               to               pack               your               own.
               One               of               the               biggest               advantages               of               staying               at               the               Pavilion               is               its               location               near               the               town's               most               popular               attractions.

Two               bicycle               rental               lots               are               within               view               of               the               building,               as               are               an               ice               cream               shop,               a               small               spa,               and               a               boxed-lunch               catering               shop.

The               boardwalk               ramp               nearest               the               motel               is               also               very               close               to               Music               Pier               and               the               center               of               the               boardwalk.

The               fun               is               only               steps               away!

    The               Sport               Fish               Restoration               Program,               which               is               one               of               the               programs               funded               and               authorized               by               the               Dingell-Johnson/Wallop               Breaux               Act               established               in               1950,               awards               grants               that               improve               recreational               boating               and               fishing               opportunities               throughout               the               nation.

    The               funding               for               these               grants               comes               from               a               3%               tax               on               electric               motors,               a               10%               tax               on               fishing               equipment,               import               duties               on               fishing               tackle               as               well               as               pleasure               yachts               and               boats,               motorboat               and               small               engine               fuel               tax               and               interest               earned               on               the               Sport               Fish               Restoration               Trust               Fund.

    The               United               States               Fish               and               Wildlife               Service               is               responsible               for               administering               the               Sport               Fish               Restoration               Program               grants               that               are               awarded               to               state               agencies               throughout               the               nation,               such               as               the               Colorado               Division               of               Wildlife.

    In               2009,               the               Colorado               Division               of               Wildlife               was               awarded               10               grants.

    These               10               grants               were               the               Sheridan               Lake               Pond               -               Kiowa               County,               Big               Thompson               River               Access               -               Glade               Park,               Road               Canyon               Reservoir               Aerators               -               Phase               1,               Easter               Seal               Handicap               Fishing               Pier               -               Phase               2,               2008               Dillon               Marina               Improvements               -               Phase               II,               Bear               Creek               Lake               ADA               Pier               -               Lakewood,               Dillon               Marina               ANS               Improvements,               Fleming               Pond               -               Phase               I,               Middle               Boulder               Creek               Habitat               Improvement               -               Platt               Rogers               Memorial               Park,               Lake               Nighthorse               Motorboat               Improvements               and               88th               Avenue               Open               Space               -               Thornton.
                   The               Sheridan               Lake               Pond               Project               in               Kiowa               County               is               funded               by               a               $16,240               grant               and               runs               from               October               10,               2008               to               December               31,               2010.

    This               grant               provides               funds               to               dredge               an               existing               pond               to               double               its               current               size,               to               build               an               access               road,               to               build               a               parking               lot               and               to               build               an               ADA               accessible               restroom               and               picnic               shelter.
                   The               Big               Thompson               River               Access               Project               in               Glade               Park,               Loveland,               Colorado               is               funded               by               a               $55,000               grant               and               extends               from               December               15,               2008               through               December               31,               2011.

    This               grant               provides               funds               to               install               two               restroom               facilities,               to               resurface               existing               parking               lots,               to               build               an               ADA               trail               for               river               access,               to               restore               some               600               feet               of               instream               habitat               and               to               excavate               pools.

    This               grant               also               provides               funding               for               the               installation               of               boulder               clusters,               large               deflective               boulders               and               j-hooks               and               to               replant               vegetation               on               stream               banks.
                   The               Road               Canyon               Reservoir               Aerators               Project               -               Phase               1               is               funded               by               a               $57,000               grant               and               extends               from               October               1,               2008               through               December               31,               2010.

    This               grant               provides               funds               to               replace               an               existing               aeration               system               that               is               under               sized               with               one               that               is               larger               and               is               solar               powered.
                   The               Easter               Seal               Handicap               Fishing               Pier               Project               -               Phase               2               is               funded               by               a               $58,575               grant               and               extends               from               January               15,               2009               until               December               31,               2011.

    This               grant               provides               funding               to               remove               and               replace               the               existing               wooden               pier               located               at               Easter               Seal               Camp.

    The               newly               constructed               fishing               pier               will               be               ADA               accessible.

    This               grant               also               provides               funding               for               the               installation               of               shades               over               the               newly               constructed               fishing               pier               as               well               as               removing               and               replacing               a               path               to               make               it               ADA               accessible.
                   The               2008               Dillon               Marina               Improvements               Project               -               Phase               II               is               funded               by               a               $75,000               grant               is               extends               from               January               1,               2009               through               December               31,               2010.

    This               grant               provides               funds               to               install               an               ADA               accessible               boat               dock               at               the               Dillon               Marina               in               Summitt               County               as               well               as               providing               funds               for               the               preparation               of               engineering               plans               for               the               improvement               of               the               access               road               to               the               existing               boat               launch               area.
                   The               Bear               Creek               Lake               ADA               Pier               Project               in               Lakewood               is               funded               by               a               $22,500               grant               and               extends               from               January               26,               2009               until               December               31,               2011.

    This               grant               provides               funds               to               install               an               ADA               accessible               T-shaped               fishing               pier               and               an               ADA               accessible               access               trail               that               will               run               from               the               existing               parking               lot               to               the               new               fishing               pier.
                   The               Dillon               Marina               ANS               Improvements               Project               is               funded               by               a               $20,780               grant               and               extends               from               January               30,               2009               until               December               31,               2010.

    This               grant               provides               funding               to               buy               a               mobile               cleaning               station               that               will               be               used               for               the               removal               of               aquatic               nuisance               species               from               boats               before               they               enter               the               water.

    This               grant               will               also               be               used               for               the               installation               of               signage               that               pertains               to               this               mobile               washing               station.
                   The               Fleming               Pond               Project               -               Phase               I               is               funded               by               a               $30,000               grant               and               extends               from               January               25,               2009               until               December               31,               2011.

    This               grant               provides               funding               for               drilling               a               water               well               that               will               be               used               to               provide               water               to               a               fishing               pond               that               will               be               built               during               Phase               II               of               this               project.
                   The               Middle               Boulder               Creek               Habitat               Improvement               Project               located               at               Platt               Rogers               Memorial               Park               is               funded               by               a               $129,000               grant               and               extends               from               March               20,               2009               until               December               31,               2011.

    This               grant               provides               funding               for               the               improvement               of               channel               conditions               on               an               area               of               Middle               Boulder               Creek,               for               the               development               of               10               in-stream               riffle-pool               clusters               and               for               the               installation               of               riffle-pool               sequences.

    This               grant               also               provides               funding               to               stabilize               and               replant               vegetation               on               1350               linear               feet               of               stream               bank               and               for               the               stabilization               and               upgrading               of               2               public               access               points               on               Middle               Boulder               Creek.
                   The               Lake               Nighthorse               Motorboat               Improvements               Project               is               funded               by               a               $2,               250,000               grant               and               extends               from               January               30,               2009               until               December               31,               2012.

    This               grant               provides               funding               to               build               a               boat               ramp,               access               road               and               parking               lot               and               to               build               a               vault               toilet               that               is               two-stalls               and               ADA               accessible.
                   The               88th               Avenue               Open               Space               Project               in               Thornton               is               funded               by               an               $110,000               grant               and               extends               from               March               31,               2009               until               December               31,               2011.

    This               grant               provides               funding               for               the               construction               of               amenities               for               both               the               north               and               south               lakes.

    Included               in               this               project               are               the               construction               of               a               boat               ramp,               access               road               and               a               trail               as               well               as               restroom               facilities,               shaded               shelters               and               fencing.

    This               grant               also               provides               funding               for               one               fishing               pier               on               the               north               lake               and               2               fishing               piers               on               the               south               lake,               one               of               which               will               be               ADA               accessible               with               an               ADA               accessible               path               that               extends               from               the               parking               lot               to               the               fishing               pier.

    This               project               will               also               have               signage               installed               that               acknowledges               the               funding               participation.

    This               signage               will               be               located               at               the               project               site               for               visitor               information.
                   The               Sport               Fish               Restoration               Program,               which               funds               many               grants,               provides               a               cycle               that               begins               and               ends               with               the               user               of               the               facility               where               the               grant               has               been               awarded.

    The               funds               that               are               spent               getting               to               the               water               and               while               on               the               water               often               help               fund               the               grant               that               is               awarded               to               make               improvements               as               deemed               necessary.

    Improvements               such               as               the               ones               for               which               these               grants               have               been               awarded               in               the               State               of               Colorado               create               a               safer               and               more               accessible               way               for               boaters               and               anglers               to               enjoy               the               vast               bodies               of               water               throughout               Colorado.

    The               fund               established               by               the               Dingell-Johnson/Wallop               Breaux               Act               enables               boaters               and               anglers               to               invest               in               the               recreational               pastime               that               they               choose               each               and               every               time               they               venture               out               on               the               water.

    Grants               awarded               by               The               Sport               Fish               Restoration               Program               are               calculated               using               a               formula               that               includes               land               area,               the               number               of               paid               license               holders               as               well               as               minimums               and               maximum.

    These               grants               are               disbursed               on               a               reimbursement               basis               of               up               to               75%               of               the               cost               of               the               project               and               up               to               100%               of               the               cost               of               projects               for               United               States               territories.
